I was born on Independence Day in Suriname, November 25th. They call us children of independence.
We gained our so-called independence on November 25th 1975, we’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary next year. We never truly became independent, corrupt government after corrupt government have kept the people dependent. Now we depend on IMF.
Next year is our year, the year of our true independence. Next year we fight for our liberty!
